Charity

As the NFL Injury Report we follow and support anything and everything the NFL does and is a part of. Of coarse this includes the NFL's partnering charity with United Way. Together the two major associations have come together by the one goal, battling child obesity. Their way of doing so is NFL Play 60. NFL Play 60 encourages kids of all ages to get outside and play for at least 60 minutes every day. This is a great cause and we support it every step of the way.

NFL Goes Green

The NFL has followed the trend to go green by creating their own green clothing line. Just about every sports fan has a shirt or jacket of their favorite team, now the NFL has taken the same clothes and made them organic. The clothes are made of 100% organic cotton in order to help save the environment. These clothes look great and you can  now feel great knowing you're helping the cause. Go online and order your organic clothing with the label NFL Pro Line ECO.

Terrelle Pryor's time?

Terrelle Pryor Was an absolute stud at Ohio State University, one of the better Quarterbacks of his class. Typically the top QB's will get drafted in the first or maybe second round, but Pryor got into some trouble with driving on a suspended license in college, the NFL was uncertain whether or not to allow Pryor into the draft. In the end Pryor was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the supplemental draft and given a five week suspension. It is now week seven and Pryor is eligible and an opening has been made for the Raiders. Jason Campbell sustained a season ending injury, broken collarbone, and the Raiders are now in need of a QB. This could be the start of the Pryor era in Oakland, lets wait and see how it turns out.

Sean Payton?

New Orleans head coach Sean Payton suffered a torn MCL and fractured his tibia in his left leg in last Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Payton was coaching on the sidelines when there was a collision on the sidelines with tight end Jimmy Graham. The collision hit Payton's left leg and left him injured. Following his injury, Sean Payton tried to coach from the sidelines, but at halftime, he had to get carted off the field so that he could coach from the box in the upper deck. Payton had surgery on Monday to repair his leg and is expected to coach from the press box.

The Colts Without Manning

Last season the Indianapolis Colts finished their season with a 10-6 record winning the AFC south and their biggest weapon, Reggie Wayne, finished with 111 receptions for 1355 yards, he also found the end-zone six times. This was all due to the stud quarter back Peyton Manning with 4700 yards passing. This year the Colts have been without Manning after his off-season neck surgery, and they miss him miss him a lot. This year the backup Kerry Collins started the season and was injured and replaced by Curtis Painter. Between the two QBs there have been only 1100 passing yards and an 0-5 start. Manning's return doesn't seem very bright so the Colts will need some major adjustments to salvage their broken season.

Huge Hits= Huge Injuries

The NFL has always been a fast-paced game with huge hits, with this comes huge injuries. In this video you will see some of the most exciting hits in NFL history. Many of these incredible collisions involved head to head contact (which is now banned today and will result in substantial fines and suspension). Full speed head to head collisions almost always result in severe concussions that can threaten a player's entire season, maybe even their career. They may be fun to watch, but these hits are the most dangerous in any contact sport, currently the NFL is doing everything in there power to lessen and eventually take them out of the game completely.

Week 4 Injury Report

Week 4 left us with quite a few injuries to big name players, but before we talk about that, we want to have everyone follow us on twitter #NFLInjuryReport. We would really appreciate the followers. For starters, Andre Johnson, the star receiver for the Houston Texans suffered a right hamstring injury. He went down during Sunday's game and did not return. Another big name player got injured Sunday. James Harrison, the pro bowl linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, suffered a broken orbital bone around his right eye. He is expected to be out indefinitely as he will have a surgical procedure to repair it. The Steelers suffered two other injuries as quarter back Ben Roethlisberger and running back Rashard Mendenhall each went down during the game. Big Ben sprained his ankle and Mendenhall suffered a hamstring injury. To wrap this week up, star rookie running back Daniel Thomas sat out Sunday's game with a bad hamstring.
